“There’s no better time to ponder your posture and identify any bad habits that could be taking their toll on your spine,” Chiropractors’ Association Australia SA (CAASA) President, Dr Zoe Love advised.
This year’s National Chiropractic Care Week theme asks: ‘Which posture are you?’ and CAASA chiropractors will be using the Week to help SA residents identify their posture profile, highlighting common problems and showing people how they can re-train their posture to reduce the load on the spine.
“Up to 90 per cent of people have poor posture, which puts extra pressure on the spine and can lead to tension, soreness, headaches, back pain and fatigue,” Dr Love says.
