The service is available from Friday through to Sunday and on public holidays.
The service has had a 30 year history and during this time thousands of South Australians have benefited from the assistance provided by fully qualified chiropractors who have been prepared to make themselves available.
Many of our association members will leave the AHES number on their answering services.
If you are experiencing spinal pain or dysfunction, the chiropractor on call is able to discuss your condition, make recommendations as to whether a chiropractor may be able to help, and if appropriate, arrange an appointment to see you. Naturally after hours fees will apply.
FAQ
Where do I need to go to receive care?
Generally care will be provided at the practitioner’s practice.
Will the chiropractor do housecalls?
Home visits may be available depending on the circumstances and availability of the Chiropractor on duty.
How much does it cost?
Fees vary from practice to practice, so you should check with the practitioner at the time of making your appointment.
Do I need a referral?
Generally not. Private patients DON’T NEED A REFERRAL, however, if you are receiving care under Veterans Affairs or Medicare or some other third party payers it may be wise to discuss your circumstances at the time.
How do I know whether a chiropractor could help me?
Chiropractors are trained to diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions, although most people consult us in relation to their spinal health.
Will I need x-rays?
Chiropractors are trained to assess your condition. If the chiropractor believes that Xrays are required, they are able to either refer to a Radiologist, or in many cases take them on the spot.
