Privacy Policy Statement

The CAA values the relationship it has with members and as such has an obligation to protect members' privacy and to comply with the National Privacy Principles Privacy Act.


This includes the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 that came into effect on 21 December 2001, requiring the CAA to handle a member's personal details responsibly.  This responsibility regulates the accurate and appropriate collection, holding, use, alteration, disclosure and transfer of personal information by organisations in the private sector.  The CAA has always used diligence and care when handling such information and will continue to do so.


The purpose of this document is to provide information and an understanding of how the CAA collects, uses, discloses and protects this personal information.
